No. VitalRADS does not have any sign-up fees.
No special equipment is needed to use our services; however, you will need access to the internet, a computer, and the ability to add a DICOM destination to your imaging software. Note that images that are attached rather than transferred to VitalRADS directly via DICOM are subject to an attachment fee.
The primary purpose of telemedicine and teleradiology is to elevate the standard of care for veterinary patients. Board-certified specialists are readily available as a backup resource for routine or challenging cases where a specific specialty is required.

Yes. VitalRADS has several radiologists that review and interpret exotic cases.
To sign up, follow 3 easy steps.
- Log in to the ZoetisDx portal, navigate to the Consultations tab and click "Explore" below the VitalRADS link.
- From www.VitalRads.com, scroll down and click "Get Started", and fill out the requested information. Once your form has been submitted, VitalRads will activate your account and send you a welcome email.
- Add the DICOM server to your imaging software. The DICOM server settings will be included in your welcome email, along with instructions on how to connect your imaging device to their server. You can also view the DICOM settings by logging into your account on the VitalRADS website and clicking on the "Details" page.
Note: You may contact your imaging vendor or IT manager for assistance with this as they will know your equipment best, or you can contact VitalRADS support.
