Haematology analysis requires EDTA-treated blood (from tubes containing potassium EDTA only).
Vetscan OptiCell Haematology cartridges have a shelf-life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Customers should account for travel and warehouse time when using the cartridges.
Vetscan OptiCell Haematology cartridges are stored at room temperature and do not require any refrigeration, which is a benefit to maximise storage space. Cartridges should be stored in a designated supply area that is dry and not subject to direct sunlight.
